Offering OptionsWhy Freedom House?

Our Freedom House Sober Living facility is used by addicts recovering from substance abuse, which serves as an interim environment between rehab and a return to their former lives. Our vision grew out of a need to have clean and supportive place for people to live while they were in recovery. We primarily cater people who have just come out of rehab and need a place to live that is structured and supporting for those in recovery.

The ultimate goal for Freedom House Sober Living, is to allow people to begin the process of reintegration with society, while still under monitoring and support through a 12 step program, this is believed to reduce the risk of relapse when compared to a release directly into society, usually back into the environment where they were in when using drugs.

Freedom House Sober Living offers this options for individuals transitioning out of our 30-Day residential program, from other treatment programs, or for those new to recovery who are seeking a supportive living environment. Our Sober Living units are located in central Las Vegas, with easy access to after care programs.

Each unit is managed by a member of Freedom House’s staff. Living on-site, this person provides leadership and guidance for residents who are newly clean and sober. Residents of Freedom House Sober Living are expected to follow house rules (such as zero tolerance for drug use or possession), take responsibility for certain household duties (cooking, cleaning and light maintenance), and attend 12 Step meetings, both on-site, as well as in the surrounding community.
